YuMe Takes Aim at Germany's Anime Boom

Germany's anime market is one of the fastest growing in Europe and YuMe is here for it!

YuMe Takes Aim at Germany's Anime Boom

This year, we are bringing our deepest anime portfolio to date to the German market spanning blind-box, bobble, plush and keychain formats across three major properties, all designed to drive repeat purchase and sustained fandom.

Jujutsu Kaisen remains the anchor. Bobble Hero Series 2 puts Yuji, Gojo and Sukuna on desks and shelves in their most expressive form yet. Pocket Hero Series 1 takes the fandom into everyday carry. And the Cursed Energy DZNR soft toy plush line broadens the appeal further softening the look of some of the series' most iconic villains for collectors and gift buyers alike.

Solo Leveling is one of anime's fastest-rising global hits. The Shadow Rising Hero Box delivers scene-based blind-box figures of Sung Jinwoo and his shadow army, built for impact on shelf and at home. The Bobble Hero Series 1 adds a more playful second entry point to the line.

Kaiju No. 8 completes the slate. The Combat Series Hero Box featuring Kafka Hibino, Mina Ashiro and Kaiju No. 8 leans into bold sculpting, dynamic poses and translucent effects that bring the Defence Force to life in compact, display-ready form.

And tying it all together: the One Piece Barrel Capsule Series 1. YuMe's Hero Capsule format combines the thrill of blind unboxing with high-quality licensed design and an accessible price point - a proven formula that resonates strongly with German fans.

"Germany is a key strategic market for us in Europe, not only because of its strong retail landscape but also due to the passion and sophistication of its anime fanbase," said Daniel Petcu, Head of EMEA Sales. "With our 2026 portfolio, we're delivering both the depth of range and the innovation needed to drive sustained growth in this market."

YuMe is backing the push with a digital-first approach across TikTok, YouTube, Instagram and Reddit with the latter seeing explosive growth in Germany, with over 206 billion views between February 2025 and January 2026.
